Ukraine Votes in Presidential Run-off

KIEV (Cihan) - Ukraine went to polls on Sunday for a presidential runoff election with opposition leader and the winner of the first round Viktor Yanukovich facing Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

Yanukovich won the first round with 35.3 percent of the votes while Tymoshenko garnered 25 percent in the first round held on Jan. 17.

Opinion polls give the pro-Russian opposition leader him the lead ahead of today's vote.
